The ever-talented Parisian creative collective Ill-Studio translate the Sound Pellegrinovisual identity they defined in still form into a short video illustrating the label’s next release from German newcomer MATTHIAS ZIMMERMANN.

Sampled video footage of semi-confidential scientific reports, counter-culture gatherings, audio research and pop flashes of our non-localizable collective youth are cropped, cut, chopped and edited in perfect sync with the beats, synths and string of the bewildering “Luther” single, and conjures fond memories of Plastic Dreams or classic Coldcut/Hexstatic videos, taking sampling culture back to its own playful roots.
